Eaton’s direct current (DC) hyper charger is an industry-leading fast-charger capable of charging electric buses in just five minutes.
With one of the highest energy densities in its class, the charger is scalable from 250 kilowatts to 1 megawatt.
Currently in revenue service as part of operating bus routes in several cities, this en route charger is designed to provide fleets of all sizes with reliable and efficient off-board charging.
To date, the hyper charger has allowed electric buses to travel more than 600,000 miles.
The charger is also one of the first EV chargers of its size to earn ETL safety certification.
