The Ciralight SunTracker uses a small photovoltaic (PV)-powered GPS sun-tracking unit and a set of mirrors to illuminate interior spaces completely off the power grid up to 10.5 hours per day.
The unit can reduce energy use and the cost for lighting buildings by 50 to 80 percent.
SunTrackers are already in wide use to illuminate offices, warehouses, airport terminals and factories around the world.
