Arvada, Colorado – July 07, 2014: SkyFuel, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of advanced solar parabolic trough systems used for utility-grade electricity generation and industrial steam applications is pleased to announce the promotion of Kelly Beninga to the role of President of SkyFuel, Inc. Mr. Beninga joined SkyFuel in 2010 as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, bringing with him extensive experience across conventional and renewable power industry.

SkyFuel continues its strong run in parabolic trough deployment and is currently in construction of its largest solar field in North America with a solar addition to Enel Green Power’s Stillwater geothermal power plant in Nevada. “SkyFuel will continue to focus applications of our innovative collector on storage integrated power projects, hybrid co-firing with other renewable and fossil fuels, and Combined Heat and Power applications such as water desalination. These markets cannot be addressed with photovoltaics and represent a high value added for our unique technology”, states Mr. Beninga.
