Description: Be the leader of change in your community! Attend this step-by-step workshop to hear the latest technologies, strategies, and best practices for creating a truly sustainable, resilient, equitable and just community wherever you might reside. Workshop registration also includes automatic registration in a free series of follow-up webinars designed to maximize local and global impact of your actions. Together, we can – and will – create a sustainable world for all!
Location: The George Washington University, Marvin Student
Center, 3 rd Floor. Note: Final room assignment TDB.
Cost: $100 – includes Lunch (prior to the workshop) with representatives from ASES
Chapters and several community-facing programs.
Solar Advocacy in Action: A Pre-Conference Visit to Capitol Hill
Date & Time: Monday, May 20, 2023, 10am to 3pm.
Description: Be part of the change you wish to see! Attend this pre-conference excursion to the Capitol Hill and gain hands-on experience in solar policy advocacy. Discover how your advocacy efforts can shape a brighter future for our one shared planet. Registration also includes an important orientation webinar prior to our Hill visit.
Location: Participants will gather on Capitol Hill near the U.S. Capitol Building, then proceed to the various Senate and House Office Buildings to engage with elected officials and/or their congressional staff. Note: exact meetup location and transportation options to be provided to registrants during the pre-event orientation webinar – based, in part, on the home states of each participant.
