In 1993, the American Solar Energy Society established this award to recognize special contributions to the Society. The name of the award was changed in 1996 to honor the memory of Rebecca Vories, one of the Society’s most tireless and valuable volunteers.
Criteria: The award honors those whose volunteer efforts on behalf of the society have significantly advanced ASES’ ability to meet its mission. The recipient must have:
Multiple nominations for a candidate are welcome. At least two letters of support are required for each candidate. Letters of support should be submitted to awards@ases.org.
