So you want to be in solar
Do you have what it takes?
Try installing on your house
It separates out the fakes
It was Gandhi who said
“You have to be the change”
So learn at your place
It is not hard to arrange
Take a class
Get the skills
Install a system
Forget the bills
Investing in yourself
It's the best you can do
The rewards will be high
A job will come to you
If you understand
How it all works
You will find your place
Your job will have perks
Many functions are needed
People with various skills
Drivers, accountants, lawyers
Solar is quite the thrill
Job application with experience
Is worth more than gold
Your happiness in a job
You will be happy to hold
So what are you waiting for?
Get on the stick!
Get real life experience
And make it quick!

Rhyming with "Renewables"
Yet big biz found oil more fun
Our system has failed
To make clean all that shale
Our reliance on fossil is done!
Pigeons and Golfballs
two little gray pigeons, just cooing away.
They waddled and cooed, and nipped at my cables.
I worried the array they soon would disable.
Then BANG!
Onto my panels did fall,
from way far away a bright white golfball.
Off flew the pigeons in such a great haste,
all that was left was two spots of waste.
Yes a small crack in one module exists.
But my cables are safer, and I'm 'mostly' less pissed.
