Solar Advocates Gather in New Mexico

The New Mexico Solar Energy Association (NMSEA) hosted its 2009 Solar Fiesta Sept. 26 and 27 in Albuquerque, N.M. The annual event offers classes, activities and exhibits that teach the community about energy conservation, renewable energy and sustainable living. Roughly 1,700 people attended this year’s event, which included a solar bake-off competition, workshops on solar technologies, financing and incentives, and solar model car races. Photos by Gail Rubin
