ASES Programs Make a Difference
For more than 50 years, the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society has been leading the renewable energy revolution. Through our various programs we are increasing the use of solar energy across the U.S.
SOLAR TODAY is the award-winning magazine published by the American Solar Energy Society, and is sold on newsstands nationwide. For more than 20 years, SOLAR TODAY has been the voice of the renewable energy community.
The National Solar Conference is America’s premier educational event for solar energy professionals. Now in its 39th year, the National Solar Conference introduces you to the leaders, innovators, and technologies moving the industry forward.
The ASES National Solar Tour is the largest grassroots solar event in history. The tour offers participants the opportunity to tour homes and buildings to see how neighbors are using solar energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies to reduce their monthly utility bills and help tackle climate change.
Find Solar helps home and business owners get the information and education they need when researching Solar Power and Renewable Energy projects. Our goal is to save you both time and money in the process. Find Solar is brought to you through a partnership between the American Solar Energy Society and Cooler Planet. With regional chapters in 40 states across the U.S. we're part of a powerful, collaborative network. Each ASES chapter is an independent organization with its own membership and dues structure, its own board of directors and its own vision, mission and programs. Solar Nation speaks up to advance the use of solar energy by encouraging policy change, informing political leaders and candidates about solar power, and helping to shape policy platforms at the local, state and federal level. Solar Nation speaks out against the competing use of dirty and dangerous fossil fuels or nuclear power, and in opposition to lobby-influenced legislation or policy that favors such energy choices. ASES Technical Divisions bring together members with similar interests in order to exchange information. Membership in ASES Divisions is a benefit of ASES Professional and Organizational membership.
