The American Solar Energy Society's National Solar Tour opens thousands of homes and buildings throughout the country to provide the public with an opportunity to experience solar power, solar heating, cooling, and hot-water, wind power, daylighting, and green building technologies. Visit a tour and learn energy efficiency strategies and methods, speak with homeowners and experts, and learn how the technology works, what it costs, and why it makes sense.

Cleveland Embraces Renewable Energy Before, During and After SOLAR 2007
Over 1,800 people registered for and attended SOLAR 2007, and an additional 3,200 Ohioans visted the SOLAR 2007 Exhibit Hall on Sunday, July 8. Cleveland's enthusiasm for renewable energy was evident for nearly a year before the conference - demonstrated by the installation of a 225kW wind turbine and a 32kW PV array at the Great Lakes Science Center, solar thermal systems on two city fire stations, and a brand new PV system intalled at Jacob's Field, home of the Cleveland Indians - the first PV system installed at an American League baseball stadium.
