Chair: Arnold Leitner
Leitner is the CEO and President of SkyFuel LLC and author of the U.S. Department of Energy study, “Fuel From the Sky: Solar Power’s Potential for Western Energy Supply." He was formerly Senior Consultant at Platts (McGraw-Hill), an energy information provider. Leitner is an expert on North American and global power markets and is the first lifetime member of a prominent German wildlife trust. Leitner received an MBA from
Columbia Business School in 2006 and a PhD in Physics from the University of Colorado in 1999.

Vice-Chair: Jeff R. Lyng
Lyng is currently serving as a Technical Consultant at Xcel Energy. He was the recipient of 2006 John and Barbara Yellot Award from ASES and received the 2006 Mark McCray Award from CoSEIA. He was the Project Manager for 2005 University of Colorado Solar Decathlon team. His Masters Project at the University of Colorado was “Implementing Solar Energy in the Colorado Production Home Market.” He testified before U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy on November 2, 2005. Lyng hs an M.S. in Civil Engineering, from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in Ecology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

Secretary: Tommy Cleveland
Cleveland is an Energy Specialist at the North Carolina Solar Center at NC State University, and is co-instructor of the solar energy undergrad/grad mechanical engineering course at NC State. He holds an MS & BS Mechanical Engineering, North Carolina State University.

Past-Chair: Randy Gee
Randy Gee also represents the Solar Electric Division on the ASES Board of Directors. He is presently an independent consultant and has worked in the field of solar energy for over twenty-five years as a small business owner, the R&D Director of Solargenix, and a staff engineer for SERI/NREL. Randy also serves on the Board of the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, Illinois and Arizona.
